Suite à sa formation en sociologie à l'Université de Sorbonne Paris IV, elle a obtenu son diplôme de Master en mention “Sociologie et Philosophie”, dont le mémoire portait sur "Finance islamique et habitus économique des entrepreneurs musulmans". Elle a soutenu sa thèse à l’EHESS-CETOBaC intitulée "Un esprit du capitalisme musulman postsoviétique ? Sociologie d'un réseau d'entrepreneurs économiques et religieux dans le sud du Kazakhstan depuis 1991 : la Naqshbandiyya Mujaddidiyya Süleymanci". Son objectif est d'analyser l'émergence et la confessionnalisation de nouvelles formes de groupes de solidarité nourris par des valeurs islamiques, en se concentrant sur l'économie islamique dans le contexte post-soviétique de l'Asie centrale, avec des perspectives nationales et transnationales. Depuis 2019, elle est chercheuse associée à la Fondation France-Japon (EHESS). En 2023, elle a obtenu une bourse postdoctorale à l'Université de Hong Kong, HKIHSS, pour mener un projet de recherche sur l'Initiative de la Nouvelle Route de la Soie à travers l'Asie centrale.

Trained in Sociology at the University of Sorbonne Paris IV, she obtained her MA in Sociology and Philosophy focusing on "Islamic Finance and Economic Habitus of Muslim Entrepreneurs." She completed her PhD at EHESS-CETOBaC. Her thesis “ A Spirit of Post-Soviet Muslim Capitalism? Sociology of an Economic and Religious Entrepreneurial Network in Southern Kazakhstan since 1991: the Naqshbandiyya Mujaddidiyya Süleymanci” aims to analyze the emergence and confessionalization of new forms of solidarity groups nourished by Islamic values, specifically focusing on Islamic economy in the post-Soviet Central Asian context with both national and transnational implications. Since 2019, she has been an associate researcher at the Fondation France-Japon (EHESS). In 2023, she was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Hong Kong, HKIHSS, to conduct a research project on the New Silk Road Initiative through Central Asia.
