Marine Ledroit est diplômée d’un double master de sciences politiques (IEP Lille) et de sociologie spécialisé en études de genre (Université Paris Cité). Depuis 2020, elle est étudiante en doctorat sous la direction de Marc Aymes (EHESS/CETOBaC) et Azadeh Kian (Université Paris Cité/CEDREF).
Sa thèse, intitulée « Travailler la terre du monde global : les effets de la production agricole mondialisée sur les rapports sociaux de classe, de genre et d’ethnicité en Turquie », propose de contribuer aux réflexions sur la structuration sociale en Turquie en mobilisant la sociologie du travail, les études sur les migrations et les approches par le genre.
En analysant la transformation des relations sociales au sein de la main-d'œuvre agricole, cette thèse vise à interroger les effets de la mondialisation sur la structuration sociale en Turquie. La recherche est s’appuie sur une enquête de terrain menée auprès de travailleurs de l'industrie agricole dans trois régions où la production est orientée vers l'exportation. L'hypothèse principale de cette thèse de doctorat est que l'adaptation de la production aux dynamiques du marché mondial contribue à la configuration d'une nouvelle division sociale, sexuée et ethnique du travail.

Marine Ledroit graduated with a double master's degree in political science (IEP Lille) and sociology specialized in gender studies (Université Paris Cité). Since 2020, she is a PhD student under the supervision of Marc Aymes (EHESS/CETOBaC) and Azadeh Kian (Université Paris Cité/CEDREF).
Her thesis, entitled "Working the Land of the Global World: The Effects of Globalized Agricultural Production on Social Relations of Class, Gender and Ethnicity in Turkey", proposes to contribute to reflections on social structuring in Turkey by mobilizing sociology of labour, migration studies and gender approaches.
By analyzing the transformation of social relations in the agricultural workforce, this dissertation aims to question the effects of globalization on social structuration in Turkey. The research is based on a mix-methods fieldwork conducted in three areas alongside workers of export-oriented agricultural industry. The main hypothesis of the research is that the adaptation of the production to global market dynamics contributes to the configuration of a new social, gendered and ethnic division of labour.
