Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Turkish literature and languages from Istanbul University in 2016 and a Master's degree in LLCER from Strasbourg University in 2020, she is currently a doctoral student at EHESS with a major in History and Civilizations under the supervision of Alexandre PAPAS and Marc TOUTANT  for her thesis entitled "The construction of a national Islam in Kazakhstan and Turkey: Ahmad Yasavi and the Hikmet".
The objective of her thesis is to analyze the place of the role of the Divan-i Hikmet and its supposed author, Ahmad Yasavi, among Muslim brotherhoods and, more broadly, intellectual circles in Central Asia and the Ottoman Empire from the 19th century to the ex-Soviet states of Central Asia and the Turkish Republic. This research will allow us to understand the ideological stakes of the re-Islamization of Central Asia, and to highlight the constant interactions between Central Asian and Turkish thinkers of national Islam throughout modern history.
