Biographie / Biography

Dilnoza Duturaeva est maîtresse de conférences en histoire médiévale à l'Université de York, spécialisée dans l'histoire de l'Asie centrale et de la Chine. Ses intérêts de recherche dans les études incluent les études Qarakhanid et Qarakhitai, le khanat moghul (Moghulistan), les relations sino-turques, la diplomatie, le commerce et les échanges interculturels en Eurasie pré-moderne. Elle a obtenu son doctorat en histoire de l'Académie des sciences d'Ouzbékistan en 2011. Pendant ses études de doctorat, elle a effectué des séjours de recherche à l'Université Halle-Wittenberg (2008-2009) et à l'Université Wisconsin-Madison (2010). Après avoir terminé son doctorat, elle a été chercheuse principale àl'Académie des sciences d'Ouzbékistan (2011-2021) et a obtenu une bourse de la fondation Gerda Henkel à l'Université de Nanjing (2012-2013) et une bourse de la fondation Alexander von Humboldt à l'Université de Bonn (2015-2018). Elle a travaillé au CETOBaC sur le projet finance par la DFG «The Turks and the Sinitic World: A History of the Silk Road in the 10th-12th centuries» en 2020-2022.

Dilnoza Duturaeva is a Lecturer in Medieval History at the University of York, specializing on the history of Central Asia and China. Her researchs interests include Qarakhanid and Qara Khitai studies, the Moghul Khanate (Moghulistan), Sino-Turkic relations, diplomacy, trade, and cross-cultural exchange in pre-modern Eurasia. She received her Ph.D. in History from the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan in 2011. During her doctoral studies, she had research stays at the Uniersity of Halle-Wittenberg (2008-2009) and the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2010). After completing her Ph.D. she was a Senior Research Fellow at the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan (2011-2021) and held a Gerda Henkel Fellowship at the University of Nanjing (2012-2013) and an Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship at the University of Bonn (2015-2018). She worked at the CETOBaC on the DFG-funded project “The Turks and the Sinitic World: A History of the Silk Road in the 10th-12th centuries” in 2020-2022.
